About David
David is in his fourth term as a member of the State Senate. He represents
portions of Fulton and Gwinnett Counties.
He is the Chairman of the Regulated Industries and Public Utilities Committee
and Vice Chairman of the Insurance and Labor Committee. He is a member of the
Banking and Financial Institutions Committee, Finance Committee, Health and
Human Services Committee, Reapportionment and Redistricting Committee, Rules
Committee, and Science and Technology Committee. He is also a member of the
Committee on Assignments advising Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle on committee
appointments and bill assignments.
David represents Georgia on the Southern States Energy Board and is a member of
Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Overview Committee (MARTOC). He formerly
served as Administration Floor Leader for Governor Sonny Perdue.
State law limits contributions to $2,300 per person, business entity
or political committee for the primary and $2,300 per person,
business entity or political committee for the general election.
State law also requires us to report the name,
address and occupation or employer of every contributor of $101 or more.
